Is The NFL Fixed?

Superbowl XL and the playoffs were just unbelievable

TIME TO SPEAK OUT - The media is doing everything they can to divert our attention away from the Official's performance at the superbowl (and the playoffs).  The NFL's response to the poor officiating was worse than the on field calls by the refs.  As a true fan of the game...I cannot sit back and let this go without speaking out.

All NFL fans welcome to Subscibe, join in...or just add your comments.  This includes the fans of the world champs as well...they also suffered though some bad calls this championship season.

If you want to post a new topic....please e-mail your entry to  fixedgame@hotmail.com and I will post it.

After watching a superbowl comparable only to a WWF event, I find little option but to thoroughly investigate the NFL's officiating crew.  As I watched the program devised by the NFL this year called the superbowl, I made note of each instance where the referees made favorable calls (or non-calls) for the Pittsburgh Steelers.  (12 total calls/non-calls; 7 I believe to be game changing).   I am not a Seahawks or a Steelers fan...I am a cowboys fan...and when my team does not make the big game I AM A NFL FOOTBALL FAN.  I bet no money on this game.  When the game started, all I wished for was an enjoyable competitive game.

By trade I am an investigator.  I am currently getting film of the superbowl so I can further investigate the instances I made note of during the game.  I plan to then review all the playoff games and see if there is a trend with any particular officials.  My goal (a lofty one...which most people put it as "you are dreaming") is to petition the NFL for a full investigation of it's officiating crew.

How can there be such a blanten disregard for the game as I have loved since I was a child. To see such bad officating in such an important game, how can the NFL defend the officals is beyond me. My eyes could not believe what I was watching unfold on TV, how dare the NFL take such a stand when it was so obvious has to what was really going on. May the commissioner of the NFL not get any rest until all wrongs have been righted and apologys have been been made. Rochelle

I have watched the Steelers play since 1972. Then in 1976, I became a Seahawks fan as well because we finally got a team in the P.N.W. I am a fan of both teams. I watched and rooted for both teams all year long and was thrilled to see both in the Super Bowl. As a fan of the NFL, I think the fans of both teams were robbed. I am very disgusted to see the officiating dictate the game and alter the outcome. There is no reasonable evidence to justify the calls that were made by the officials. The officiating stole the momentum of the Seahawks. What is wrong with the quality of Officials in the league? We had the blown call in the Colts/Steelers playoff game that almost cost the Steelers their chance and now the Super Bowl. We watch these teams all year long investing time, money, and emotions and now we get this.
As a fan of the NFL, I feel robbed because I truly do not know who was the better team and I feel bad for both teams. The Steelers got a ring for the thumb but it is definitely tarnished and the NFL got big smudge on the Lombardi Trophy.

What a great idea to start this website! I'm glad there are many other people out there who see just how pitiful the NFL has become. The games should be decided by the players on the field, not pre-decided based on money and storylines. I wish you good luck in your quest to analyze and find out what's going on. Great site, I will be visiting here very often.

Does anyone have videos of the Steelers getting away with blatant holds? It happened on two key third downs. Number 64 (might have been 54) got away with two obvious holds.

Its not just the calls that were made that were bad, its also the calls that weren't made.

The calls that were not made by the officals will be very telling... I know that Heath Miller had a gang tackle on Willie Parker's 74 yard TD run. Consistancy is everything. I am getting NFL footage of all the playoffs sent to me...I am expecting the videos by Friday and will post the times calls were not made.

Just to let you all know Im still feeling like I was just havin a bad dream Sunday the 5th of feb. 2006....But it's all so real!!! I cant help but to feel like no matter what we did on superbought XL We were gonna lose, and the way I now feel is nothing we ever do will be good enough. Quess thats flustration due to superbought XL. I know this team can do it again but there is alot of things that have to happen now...healthy players, sign players ect...Thirty years of patience as a fan of the Seahawks...to get robbed by the refs in the big one is totally heartbreaking...We deffinatly deserved our fare shake and we didnt get it!!!!! Dont you owe us an apology atleast for the holding calls that werent holding and the td that really wasnt a td. Please atleast think about it and take action on the refs, never allowing them to be on a NFL field again....But No now the NFL defends the refs totally discusting me even more...with that comment by the NFL I can now say the NFL is just as guilty to me... By the way they said on Tv you had to have the ball cross the white line aka the plaine. I always thought that to be the truth...but maybe I'm wrong please do explain .. cause if thats the case How could have they not had conclusive effidence in the replay to overturn Bens TD. Not the first time Seattle got robbed in an instant replay the refs doing those replays are making just as bad of calls as the ones on the field... hince the word instant REPLAY. The refs just arent getting it right on the replay either. I got some real mixed emotions right now hurt becuase of the calls and sad for my city and team. Not sad cause we were'nt good enough to win sad that the NFL has totally let us down with the biast calls on superbought XL. In my mind we were good enough to win, with fair officiating, Sorry seahawks and fans now we'll never know thanks to the bought men in black and white!!! Has the nfl become politics and money instead of football...man o man what a shame...seems that way to me, so no more watching anything in the NFL for me accept seahawk games... GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!! Thanks for a fantastic ride Seahawks are #1 period the end... Thanks alot,

The NFL has a competetion committee that is all 32 owners, NFL executives and large corporations who really run the NFL. Government agencies will bribe the NFL into fixing a season to let a certain team win for political reason (because the name or city would inspire people during a war). But basically ever since the start of their committee they discuss only two things revenue sharing and how much they each will get. The other stuff is who goes to the playoffs and who doesn't. This started after Dallas won its last supperbowl in '95, the NFL made sure the Bill, 49ers and Cowboys stopped winning and other teams had a chance to win, but it wasnt for money and fun it was for money and more money. They play on fans by fixing games so their is excitemtent, upsets and close games to keep the excitment of the playoffs going until the very last part of the season this makes millions more from t.v. ratings, ticket and appearal sales. But you can see the bad calls and bad play that usually is a sure sign of game fixing. This year they plan to get Arizona into the playoffs-no matter how good Seattle and St. Louis are; Arizona has a new stadium to fill. Fans need to get together and complain, let the NFL make all the money it wants but don't let them and large corporations scam fans out of millions of dollars.

      thank you.

Stay focused on the money, the person calling the plays is given a number to get to in each half of the game to satisfy Las vegas casinos. players don't know about it but any players who question play calling and why their not getting the ball are considered renegades and end up out of football. watch the games closely, it is all in the play calling, a team will have 3rd and five and throw a 2 yard pass, OH they don't get the first down when they should have been throwing 10 yards to a tight end which they seem to get when they really try it. So playing to anumber they can control the over/under part of the game as well as the spread. I think theres times if the money is evenly spread that the teams will just get the green light to play the game and thats when you see the wild ones.

      NBA Fixed NOOOOOOOO
      2nd half San Antonio game over/under 91.5 scored 93
      2nd Half warrior game over/under 105
      scored 104
      2nd half Denver game over/under 105
scored 105 thats extra money for both coaches they made their numbers.
It is so obvious, they call time outs and either speed the game up or slow it down according to the number they've been given. Don't tell me the oddsmakers are that good. When is there going to be an investigation??

I had a tip that one of the fellas bought out the GreenBay Cowboy games two week ago. Owner of Green Bay got pay like 10 million for taken out Farve. Sound crazy but you better believe it.

Paul - so how does this work? your bookies buy guaranteed results to certain games from individual NFL owners? Are all of the owners involved in selling the results to bookies or just those trying to make an extra buck. And by an extra buck, about how much would you say these bookies pay these owners on a game by game basis? I greatly appreciate you sharing this information with us.

You missed the biggest screw-up of the game. The Seahawks scored a TD on the last play of the 1st half (look at the pilon) and the refs said he was out of bounds...it was never reviewed. They just went straight to half time!
